YK 6942 the 6" X 9" 4 Way professional speaker series is all set for launch:
YK 6942 the 6" X 9" 4 Way professional speaker series with 440 Watts PMPO is all set for launch after successful trials to verify the applicability for the tough Indian weather conditions. This model uses contemporary glass fiber cone woofer to give complete reproduction of the entire range of low frequency spectrum with a much lower THD.Very encouraging and positive responses are being received from customers of the pilot launch of this model held in select cities. - July 19, 2004

YP 1318 GB receives tremendous response especially as it is a perfect speaker for GM tavera and fits perfectly onto the baffle provided by the manufacturer. New 4 way oval speaker YP 6936 being launched:
YP 6936 GB a new oval 4 way speaker is slated for launch with new age grill. This model is uses strontium magnet and is targeted at the premium segment of the market. This model uses high heat resistant voice coil, and a surround and cone designed to give wide range of frequency and giving better surround reproduction. YP 6936 GB is a non press cone type made of virgin pulp and is laminated for better finish and water resistance. The output is rated at 360 W PMPO.

XG series model YP 6930 being phased out:
The XG series model YP 6930 has been slated for discontinuation this year, as customary with YamatoAudio to revamp all their models once every 6 months. The phasing out process is already in progress and very soon this model shall be replaced with an advanced speaker line.

Official Launch of YP1318GB speaker:
October 06 is the official launch date for the new YP 1318GB 13 cm Co-axial speaker. This speaker is launched to meet the growing demand for the new Hyundai Santro Xing model car that comes with a 13Cm baffle at the rear end.
The speaker shall be officially released starting from the first sale in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Launch of new 4" door speaker model:
YP1012-DB new 4" (10cm) dual cone speaker is being launched in the Indian market from September 09 2003. This model shall be replacing the current YP1012-D speaker model of the XG series.
This model speaker features include a higher performance magnet and durable voice coil and a blue woofer cone color with a silver whizer to give a more attractive look. Speaker uses cloth surround with plastic ABS cone gasket with PPI cone material. The whizer is designed to give more high frequency output. The wattage at Peak out put is 120W.

Yamato Audio Private Limited has launched its XG series of car audio speakers in India. The new XG series comes in an all black finish giving a classic look. All Yamato audio products under the Yamato brand name come with a one-year replacement warranty against any manufacturing defects. Prices range from Rs. 600 for a 4" dual cone to Rs. 3500 for naturally aged paper cone subwoofers.

The products imported from Korea have been designed and tested in its research and design development facility at Osaka, Japan.
